Composition and properties

Urgotul is a non adherent, non – occlusive flexible contact layer derived from Technology Lipido-Colloid (TLC Technology). It is composed of a flexible polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid and petroleum jelly particles.

Indications:

Non to low exuding wounds (dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, skin tears etc)
Can be combined with an absorbent dressing for heavily exuding wounds
Can be used in cavity wounds
Ideal for use in difficult-to-dress areas (fingers, toes etc.)

Method of Use:

Cover Urgotul with a secondary dressing suitable to absorb the level of exudate.
Secure with an adhesive film dressing/tape or retention bandage (K-Band® or K-Lite).
Can be left in place for up to 7 days.
