The Heal Force Prince 100I Fingertip Pulse Oximeter + Probe Port is in a class of its own. I was initially taken aback by the above average cost of this device. I have used several other much cheaper brands over the last several years with mostly disappointing results (inconsistent results, early breakdowns etc.). However having used this device most days for a few months I can testify to its reliability, excellent build quality and consistently accurate results. On every occasion it has held up very well when I have compared its performance against that of far more expensive well-known brand name table top pulse oximeter monitors.
One of the most useful and nifty features of the Heal Force Prince 100I Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is the provision of a micro usb port which allows oximeter sensors such as the Heal Force Infant Bandage Probe Sensor for 100I Pulse Oximeter to be attached to it. This greatly extends the range of patients that can be assessed to include small infants and neonates. As an Emergency Primary Care GP I have used this latter probe repeatedly on neonates and infants with very satisfying results. The Heal Force Prince 100I Fingertip Pulse Oximeter + Probe Port functions as an excellent finger pulse oximeter for adults as well as children above the age of 2 years. For small infants and neonates, best results are obtained by attaching the previously mentioned paediatric/ infant sensor probe to the infant’s big toe. The probe is covered in soft felt -like material and is secured snugly by means of a Velcro strap, allowing for a comfortable but secure fit. I also now use the Heal Force Paediatric Fingerstall Probe Sensor for 100I Pulse Oximeter as well as the Heal Force Paediatric Clip Probe Sensor for 100I Pulse Oximeter
Using these three different sensors with the Heal Force Prince 100I Fingertip Pulse Oximeter tremendously increases the effective age range of individuals that can benefit from this simple but ingenious device, from adults to neonates. Devices from other manufacturers that offer similar functionality cost multiples of the price of this pocket friendly (in more than one way) device. I would keenly recommend it to Physicians, medical students, Paramedics, Nurses, Sports enthusiasts as well as individuals (adult or children) with chronic respiratory conditions.

This oximeter is very useful, especially when you can connect a different sensor such as the one for the infants. There is a good choice of extra sensors and I have found that they fit the patient very well.
