Gelclair used a mouthwash, forms a protective film that helps to provide pain relief, soothing mouth lesions including those caused by medication, disease, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, oral surgery, trauatic ulcers caused by dental braces, dentures and ageing.
What is oral mucositis?
Painful oral lesions come in a variety of forms, from multiple small ulcers to more severe conditions such as oral mucositis. Oral mucositis is characterised by unpleasant, painful ulcers and inflammation in the mouth.
In some cases, oral mucositis can cause severe discomfort or pain and may even prevent swallowing of food and fluids.
Who is affected by oral mucositis?
Oral mucositis can affect people who are receiving radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy for a wide variety of reasons.
ORAL MUCOSITIS OCCURS IN:
5 - 40% Patients receiving treatment for solid tumours with myelosuppresive chemotherapy.
75 - 100% Patients receiving stem-cell transplantation (chemotherapy is used to prepare the patients system beforehand).
85 - 100% Patients receiving radiotherapy for head and neck cancer.

I first tried it with my 2-year-old child when his whole mouth was covered in small wounds after an antibiotic. This relieved the pain enough that he could eat again.
It also works very well for canker sores, but it is a bit too expensive for that.

Hat fast kein Geruch und Geschmack, ist flüssiger und lässt sich leicht auf dem Gaumen verteilen.
Ich habe es mit meinem 2 jährigen Kind zuerst ausprobiert als sein ganzen Mund nach einem Antibiotika mit kleine Wunden bedeckt war. Das hat die schmerzen genug gelindert, dass er wieder essen konnte.
Es funktioniert auch sehr gut bei Aphten, nur ist es etwas zu teuer dafür.
