I found this to be a very useful health aid. The hospital and surgery didn't have a portable cardiac event monitor available for me so I bought this to capture what was happening to my heart prior to my cardiology consultation. I would advise using the hand to heart option only as this gave excellent readings, whereas the hand to hand readings gave high heart rates. But on the hand to heart readings I was able to print out the ecg tracings and take them with me, which meant the consultant could see that I was only having extra beats and nothing more. I only wish I'd bought it much earlier but it is an excellent piece of equipment.

I bought a ChoiceMMed MD100P10 Pen Style Mini ECG Monitor as I was having chest pains, i went to the hospital with these pains, but by the time i got there the pains had gone and an ECG showed up clear, i was then sent for treadmill stress test which i passed with flying colours, i did explain to the doctor that anytime i get the chest pains it is at night and when i am resting, several times following the first eposide i returned to hospital with these chest pains and each time by the time i got to hospital and was seen the pain had gone and the ECG was showing up clear. i was getting to the stage where i felt the doctors thought i was a hypercondriac and was therefore reluctant to go to the hospital again.i spotted the mini ECG monitor while on amazon and after reading how easy it was to use i bought it. when it arrived i couldn\'t wait for a chest pain (not because i like them but because i wanted to make sure i wasn, going mad. A couple of weeks later and, bingo chest pain, the monitor was so easy to use and showed up a reading (which i dont understand) and a sad face (which i do understand, i took several readings to make sure then after taking asprin and waiting a while i took another reading which showed a smiley face (thats how easy it is to read). i kept monitoring myself for several weeks then when i had a further hospital appointment i printed out the readings and took them with me. it turns out i have Vascular spasm,s which only show on an ECG while they are happening, now i am on mediication to help this. without the ECG monitor i would have ended up getting no-where, it really is one of the best things ihave bought
