First impressions are of a very cheap plasticky device.
In use the button (to release the head) is initially quite dangerous! Pressing it with the motor on launches it as speed! Having done that once, you will not do it again however.
The water reservoir is much better than the rechargeable versions, but means you have to have somewhere by the basin to put the machine, and a (bathroom) socket to plug it into.
It has no lid, and one is expected to turn the reservoir over between use; I dont, since I think the rubber gromet that joins it to the machine will wear out prematurely if I do.. I might be wrong, but am not prepared to chance it.
So far (3 months) I have had no other problems with it. If you like water flossers, and are fed up with batteries that dont work, you might like to try this. It works and really cleans awkward teeth (if you can get on with it- my wife cant). Would I buy another? No, I shall go for a model that has a lid!
