It sort of does the job, but not as good as the electric one it replaced. Still, for the price it's ok, just takes a lot longer.

I have had this unit for about eighteen months, using it once a day every day - in the shower to catch the dribbles... It seemed to be effective, although my dental hygienist keeps grumbling about that I should use the interdental brushes, which I simply cannot get on with (they bend and are a real hassle to use). However, the unit has eventually worn out, not able to squirt the water with any decent pressure anymore so I am having to renew it. At the price it isn\'t unreasonable, but annoying nevertheless. I\'m casting around to see if I want to simply replace it like for like or go back to the electric models or the new compressed air / microdroplet unit (

I am very happy with it. It is very good value considering the price compared with electric versions and there are no batteries to run down.
